Effective July 1, 2024 Converse will be using AlertMedia in order to send urgent alerts to current Converse students, faculty and staff. This new system will replace Rave. All current students, faculty, and staff email have been imported to AlertMedia, and will automatically receive information via their Converse email address during potential emergency situations, ranging from severe weather warnings to inclement weather delays/cancellations to more critical emergency notifications. If you would like texts or calls, you can update your profile with up to three phone numbers and three email addresses.
Converse students, faculty and staff can also download the AlertMedia mobile app from the App Store or Google Play to stay connected and receive important campus notifications, communicate with campus safety, and gain access to resources and documents you need most.
Converse students, faculty and staff will use SSO, single sign-on, to sign into Converse's AlertMedia Portal.
Your participation in downloading and using the app for this alert system is of utmost importance as it enables Converse to communicate with the entire campus community.
To receive alerts via SMS text messaging login to Converse's AlertMedia Portal to add or edit your mobile phone number under your profile.
