Information for Students, Faculty and Staff

Effective July 1, 2020 Converse will be using Rave Mobile Safety in order to send urgent alerts to current Converse students, faculty, and staff. This new system will replace Omnilert. All current students, faculty, and staff will automatically receive information via their Converse email address during potential emergency situations, ranging from severe weather warnings to inclement weather delays/cancellations to more critical emergency notifications.

Converse students, faculty, and staff can also download the Rave Guardian mobile app from the App Store or Google Play to stay connected and receive important campus notifications, communicate with campus safety, and gain access to resources and documents you need most.

Information about logging in to Converse's Rave portal (https://www.getrave.com/login/converse) the Rave Guardian app can be found on this page.

Your participation in downloading and using the app for this alert system is of utmost importance as it enables Converse to communicate with the entire campus community.

To receive alerts via SMS text messaging login to Converse's Rave portal and either confirm or add your mobile phone number.

 

Opt-In for Vendors and Contractors

Vendors and contractors that work with Converse can opt-in to receiving alerts via text message by texting the keyword "ConverseContractors" to 226787. To stop receiving text alerts for Converse contractors and vendors text the keyword "STOP ConverseContractors" to 226787.

Message and data rates may apply. Text messages are sent on an as-needed basis. This services is provided per the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Text STOP to 226787 to cancel or HELP for tech support.
